Welcome to our web site!
The Actor's Workshop was established in 1984 by Director Brian Lawrence. In our 25-year history, we've trained
hundreds upon hundreds of men and women, many of whom are working actors in Detroit, New York and Los Angeles.

We've produced countless stage shows (see our current show Dreams below) and in recent years have focused on developing independent film projects (Corrupted Minds, Life Goes On). We have two films in production: She Kills is in post production and our current film-in-production, Politics of Street Crime is nearly finished shooting.
SUMMER TERM begins July 5, 2010, with the first of two Intro Workshop sessions offered on July 5 (the second Intro class begins August 16) Actor as Filmmaker begins on July 8 and Ongoing Study starts July 7. For details, go to the Class Schedule page.
