Welcome to our web site!  

The Actor's Workshop was established in 1984 by Director Brian Lawrence.  In our 25-year history, we've trained hundreds upon hundreds of men and women, many of whom are working actors in Detroit, New York and Los Angeles. 

We've produced countless stage shows and in recent years have focused on developing independent film projects (Corrupted Minds,

Life Goes On). We have two films in production: She Kills is in post production and our current film-in-production, Politics of Street Crime is midway through shooting.

WINTER TERM begins January 2010, with the first of two Intro Workshop sessions offered on January 4 (the second Intro class begins February 15)  Actor as Filmmaker begins on January 6 and Ongoing Study starts January 5  For details, go to the Class Schedule page.
